Price Match Guarantee Terms and Conditions

The Price Match Guarantee is based on the cost of the product only and does not include or relate to delivery charges, installation or any other options. Multiple purchase or other bulk discounts, e.g. “multi-buy” comparisons are excluded from the Price Match Guarantee. We do not price match online-only businesses such as Amazon or eBay, resellers, Auction sites, factory outlets, home shopping channels, market stalls and liquidation sales are excluded from the guarantee.

The competitor product must be generally available at the competitor’s retail store and on the competitor’s website at the relevant price on either the day that you claim the price match or for a period of up to 7 days after your purchase of the product from us.

The competitor must be based in the UK and sell direct to customers.

Typographical pricing errors, affiliate, voucher code, gift cards or media discount is excluded from the guarantee.

Comparisons with competitor’s damaged, discontinued, clearance products or closing down sales are also excluded. In deciding whether a competitor’s product is the same to the MCD product, the competitor product must be brand new, undamaged, and be of the same design, grade of material (e.g. must be of the same framing and cladding thickness) and components. Customers are limited to one Price Match Guarantee per transaction and the Price Match Guarantee cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. Any other retailer’s price match promotion which offers an additional rebate or other benefit for any price matched product is also excluded.

Competitions, free gifts and giveaways are excluded from the guarantee.

MCD’s decision will be final on the price match guarantee.

Gift / Discount vouchers are exempt.

We reserve the right to withdraw our Price Match Guarantee at any time.

These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

The customer is solely responsible to follow the claim process below and to provide all documents of evidence to support their claim.

What you’ll need to make a claim:

  1. The competitor’s name and store location.
  2. The name of the relevant competitor’s product
  3. The product specification and details of the competitor’s product e.g. design, grade of material (e.g. must be of the same framing and cladding thickness) and components.
  4. The product quote from the competitor detailing the relevant information (must be within 7 days of the MCD invoice date).
  5. A web link to the competitor’s product page in order to provide full details of the competitor’s product.
  6. The competitor’s product price.
